Dont Have Time to Workout? I Call BS!

So- it was cold today, and I wussed out.  No pool for me this morning.  I didn't want to go from warm bed to cold pool.  Instead, tonight I did day one of my 1 mile a day challenge.    As I said, I'm walking it for the moment because of my tender knee-  so instead of taking on the elliptical (and all the new year resolvers at the gym)  I did it at home with THIS DVD

In fifteen minutes you can complete a 1 mile walk-  get your heart pumping and take the first steps to a healthier you.  Fifteen minutes.  You could do that while waiting to get enough time on your DVR so you can fast forward through commercials.  The workout is decent-  it gets your heart pumping but its certainly not a high impact workout.  But if you are trying to find motivation to take the first step-  this is an easy and low commitment way to do it.

So why don't you join me (with the DVD or not)  in walking one mile every day in the month of January.  I'd love to hear if you decide to do it and your progress!

When I first started working out I did a ton of the Leslie Sansone DVD's because they were so easy and I could do them right in my home and I got such a great workout from them.

I just had to deal with my husband walking by and making fun of me (ie his imitation of me) which would cause me to laugh and miss my spot, haha :)

Good job on getting the mile in! I'm out for now due to my foot issue, but I think it sounds like a great and doable project!

Something about this woman's face reminds me of Liz Lemon's face when she is doing takes for the opening of "Dealbreakers".

30 Rock? Anyone?

bwahahaha she totally does. While she is *really* into walking in her DVDs it is a nice quick workout that you can squeeze in at the end of the night when you say "damn I should have wrked out today"....
